Waiting on Wednesday: Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Release date: August 31, 2010

Sixteen-year-old Evie's job is bagging and tagging paranormals. Possessing the strange ability to see through their glamours, she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. But when someone--or something--starts taking out the vamps, werewolves, and other odd beasties she's worked hard to help become productive members of society, she's got to figure it out before they all disappear and the world becomes utterly normal.

Normal is so overrated.

You all probably know that I am eagerly awaiting this book based on the giveaway I posted on Monday.  I'll admit that at first, I was intrigued by the premise, but not crazy excited about it.  However, Allison at The Allure of Books got a chance to read this book already and loved it, and I definitely trust her opinion.  She's actually giving away a pre-order of it because she loved it so much.  Click here to check it out!  Since then I've just been hearing more and more positive things about it.  I'm really eager to get my hands on a copy of this on see what all of the hype is about.   Also, I think the dress on the cover of this book is very pretty.

What are you waiting on this week?

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine.
