  1. Because I cannot ever make decisions and stick to them regarding my bookshelves, I ended up sticking with the tried and true alphabetical-by-author's-last-name method. It means that some of my favorite books are in my bedroom and some are in my guest bedroom, and some are just waiting in stacks for me to shift everything over and make room for the newbies, but it works for me (for now, at least).
