Winter Break TBR Pile

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great December. My semester is about to end, so this month has been insanely hectic, although things are starting to wind down now. I've already started thinking about what I'd like to get read over my winter break, so I thought I'd share with you guys. I hope you enjoy the vlog and, as always, TBR videos were started by Misty of Book Rat.

  1. You are taking a class on young adult resources? That is the coolest thing ever! And I still haven't read anything by Jackson Pearce - I feel like I REALLY need to soon. I have all of her books, I think I have several copies of her first one.

  2. So... I had watched this on youtube and somehow not commented? Misty fail.
    Anywho:

Yes, I need to read Chime SOON.
The Flesh and Blood one sounds interesting, I'm going to have to look into that one sometime soonish.
    Maus is excellent.
    WISE MAN'S FEAR. <--------------------
Wait, you haven't read The Near Witch yet? LIZ.

    Happy winter reading!

  3. I still haven't read any Jackson Pierce books either!

And Chime was hard for me to get into but I ended up enjoying it over all.

  4. Wow, did you say you have two weeks for winter break?! I hope not because that is quite short! :/

I'm taking a children's lit class this semester and we keep referencing Annie on My Mind, but we actually didn't pick it up. Maybe I'll pick it up one of these days as it IS a classic in LGBTQ YA lit. :)

    Good luck and happy reading!

  5. I absolutely LOVE The Time Traveler's Wife. It's heart-wrenching. I advise you to NOT read it in public lol. I made the mistake of reading it on the train during my commute from work. I got lots of weird looks!
