  1. I'll miss your vlogs for the rest of the month! Daughter of the Forest is really good, btw. I think Misty pushed it on me too back when I read it :) It kinda had a slow start but once I got into it you'd have had to pry it from my cold, dead hands to get it away from me.

  4. I love Juliet Marillier's books SO MUCH! Hope you enjoy Daughter of the Forest (though, her other trilogy, The Bridei Chronicles, is my fave!).

Will be really interested to read what you think of Miss P's Peculiars!

Come and see what arrived in my mailbox this week!

  5. Daughter of the Forest is fabulous!

Miss Peregrine is good too, but I thought the pictures were super creepy.

Happy reading! We will miss your vlogs!

  6. Wait, wait, wait! You heard about it from me AND Jen, but I'M the one who gets the blame? What?

But I WON'T get any blame, because IT IS MADE OF WIN. But Allison's right, it is very slow in the beginning and I almost gave up on it. But then something clicked and it is one of my all-time faves now. Lovelovelove.

And the cover of Lost Voices is so pretty! I love the foiled mermaid.

    And YAY! for Anya's Ghost!

  7. @Jillian Good question. It's a balancing act.

I'm glad to hear so many people say Daughter of the Forest is so good.

And really, Misty? You have to ask? You are a way bigger book bully than Jen, OF COURSE I'm going to blame you! :P If I weren't friends with Allison you would be the biggest book bully I know.

  9. whew, glad I still rank as the biggest bully. Sometimes Misty has me worried...

I'm also glad she agreed that the book started out slow, otherwise that could have gotten ugly.
