2011 Debut Author Challenge

It's that time again! Kristi of The Story Siren has announced that she will be hosting the 2011 debut author challenge. The idea of the challenge is to read YA/MG novels by debut authors, meaning someone who is publishing his or her first YA/MG novel. Click to see Kristi's post and get all of the details. You don't have to be a blogger to join!

I'm currently participating in the 2010 debut author challenge (which I still have a lot I want to read for) and it's tons of fun, so I'm really eager to participate in this one as well. My goal for this year has been to read twenty books (a goal I haven't quite achieved yet), and for now I'm going to maintain the same goal for 2011. With that in mind, here's some titles I plan to read. I imagine I'll add to the list as the year passes. Also, I may be reading ARCs of some of these before they release, so I may not be able to count all of them towards the final list of books I complete for the challenge.

The False Princess by Eilis O'Neal
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Angelfire by C.A. Moulton
A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford
The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney
Wither by Lauren DeStefano
Entwined by Heather Dixon
The Sweetest Thing by Christina Mandelski
Never Sit Down In A Hoopskirt and Other Things I Learned As A Southern Belle by Crickett Rumley
The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab
Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey
My Un-Fairy Tale Life by Anna Staniszewski

So that's what I'm planning on reading. I think 2011 is going to be another great year for books! Do you intend to participate in the challenge? If so, what are you planning on reading?
